Community Guidelines

At Touch, we strive to attain valuable usage of social media in order to give the users the ability to build their communities through sharing valuable content based on their interests, skills and ideas. It is our mission to empower people to express themselves in the broadest way possible, discover the world, connect with others, and most importantly, have a good time on social media.

We also aim to give the people the ability and incentive to rate the others’ contents constructively, and prevent any kind of bullying, destructive criticism, or discrimination, so that everyone can have access to and enjoy better, more interesting and less annoying content while using our social media platform.

Touch Community Guidelines are created to achieve our mission by giving our users the opportunity to express themselves and genuinely interact with each other in the best way possible, while ensuring that they can experience our Services in a safe and positive manner.

Touch Community Guidelines apply to all content on Touch and to all Touch users. Advertisers agree to additional guidelines, including that their content is accurate.

Together with our Terms of Service, we provide below the specific rules regarding the content allowed on Touch for all our users. As part of our commitment to keep Touch a safe platform for all our users, we reserve the right to decide and announce, from time to time, what content will and will not be permitted on Touch by updating these Community Guidelines.

Abusive Behaviour & Harassment & Bullying

We prohibit abusive behaviour, bullying or harassment of any kind.

Content that Violates Privacy

We prohibit content that violates the confidentiality of another person’s personal information or personally identifiable information without that person’s knowledge or consent.

Sexually Explicit Content

We prohibit accounts that promote, send or distribute pornographic, exploitative or sexually explicit content, and we are mindful of content that may be offensive or culturally inappropriate in certain regions or may not be suitable for users of all ages.

Threats, Violence & Harm

We prohibit violent or dangerous content, content that threats to harm a person, a group of people or property, content that promotes, glorifies or normalizes self-harm or self-injury.

Deception & False Information

We prohibit deceptive practices, impersonation in a misleading manner, spam, scams, fake engagement and spreading false information on our platform.

Illegal Content

We prohibit the sale, trade, promotion and use and misuse of illegal goods and services, including drugs, controlled substances and counterfeit goods, as well as the depiction, normalization or promotion of criminal activities.

Terrorism, Hate Groups, and Hate Speech

We prohibit terrorist organizations and hate groups from using our platform and content that promotes or incites violent extremism or terrorism.

We prohibit hate speech, slurs, demeaning and defaming content, or content that promotes discrimination or violence on the basis of race, color, caste, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, immigration status, socio-economic status, age or weight status.

Content that Violates Intellectual Property

We prohibit content that infringes someone else’s copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights.

Public Interest Exception

We may allow some content that would normally be prohibited per our Community Guidelines under certain circumstances. These certain circumstances include educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic content, satirical content, content in fictional settings, counter-speech, and content in the public interest that is newsworthy or otherwise enables individual expression on topics of social importance.

No Violation of Touch Security

We prohibit the undermining of our security and reliability through hacking Touch app or website, distributing malicious or harmful files, modifying, adapting, translating, reverse engineering, disassembling, decompiling, or creating any derivative products based on Touch, or attempting to regenerate Touch’s source code, algorithms, methods, or techniques, or using automated scripts to collect information from Touch.

We will remove any content, including video, audio, livestream, images, comments and text, as well as terminate, suspend or limit the visibility of your account, including by redirecting search results or limiting distribution, if you violate our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. We will notify you of our decisions and you can appeal if you believe that no violation has occurred. When warranted, we will report the accounts to relevant legal authorities.

We will review your application diligently to determine whether there is a violation and whether any action needs to be taken.
